What You'll Do As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will help lead the daily operations of our Dietary Department to ensure Veterans receive high-quality nutritional care. Responsibilities include:Assisting the Registered Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the daily operations of the Dietary DepartmentEnsuring nutritional services are provided in accordance with federal, state, and local regulationsMaintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary food service environmentSupervising dietary staff and supporting efficient department operationsAssisting with menu planning, food management, diet therapy, and cost control initiativesPromoting quality resident care through safe and effective nutritional services Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredGraduate of an accredited dietetic training program approved by the American Dietetic AssociationMinimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare settingTraining and experience in cost control, food management, and diet therapyCurrent Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential as required by state regulationsStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsCommitment to providing exceptional service and care to our Veteran residents Join a Mission That Matters When you join HMR Veterans Services, you're not just starting a job, you're becoming part of a team dedicated to serving those who have served our country.
