Director of Development

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Development to work alongside the Senior Director of Development in an environment of distinction and a culture characterized by sharing success, thinking fearlessly and driving change.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a strong, proactive major gift program
• Work collaboratively to align donor passions with Anderson’s strategic priorities
• Directly manage a premier portfolio of prospects and donors
• Work alongside world-class colleagues to drive support for important programs, accomplished faculty, and intellectually inquisitive students from all backgrounds

Requirements

• Sophisticated fundraising experience
• Strategic acumen
• "People skills" to inspire a diverse global community

Qualifications

• Proven track record in major gifts fundraising
• Experience working with a diverse range of donors
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Exceptional relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
