Director of Corporate Strategy
About the role
The Director of Corporate Strategy will be responsible for driving the corporate strategy and long-term growth initiatives, partnering closely with executive leadership. They will lead strategic projects including market expansion, portfolio optimization, business transformation, and competitive analysis. They will collaborate across business units to ensure strategic priorities are aligned with overall company objectives. They will support corporate development activities, including M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments. They will build business cases, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, and develop recommendations for senior leadership. They will prepare executive- and board-level presentations on key strategic initiatives and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Driving the corporate strategy and long-term growth initiatives, partnering closely with executive leadership.
- Leading strategic projects including market expansion, portfolio optimization, business transformation, and competitive analysis.
- Collaborating across business units to ensure strategic priorities are aligned with overall company objectives.
- Serving as a key advisor to senior leadership on strategic initiatives and business performance.
- Supporting corporate development activities, including M&A, partnerships, and strategic investments.
- Building business cases, conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, and developing recommendations for senior leadership.
- Preparing executive- and board-level presentations on key strategic initiatives and business performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of strategy experience, including 2+ years with a top-tier strategy consulting firm.
- MBA preferred; Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in consumer products, retail, analytics, software, business intelligence, or related industries preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, financial modeling, and data analysis capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience evaluating strategic transactions, including M&A, partnerships, or joint ventures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with executives and boards.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
