About the role

The Director of Corporate Development is a senior marketing professional focused on corporate development to identify, cultivate, manage, and grow strategic business relationships with medical device manufacturers, service providers, and other lenders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize potential strategic partners (manufacturers, provider groups, equipment dealers, lenders) and develop targeted outreach plans.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities; qualify, nurture, and convert prospects into active relationships.
  • Create and deliver tailored partner value propositions, presentations, and proposals positioning Covered Care as the financing partner of choice.
  • Lead negotiations for partnership and referral agreements with coordination from Legal and Finance.
  • Manage partner onboarding and ongoing account management to ensure excellent partner experience and measurable revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with Product, Credit, Sales, and Marketing to structure competitive financing programs and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Track and report KPIs (pipeline value, conversion rates, partner-sourced originations, partner retention, etc.) and provide regular updates to the President.
  • Represent Covered Care at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings; travel as needed (estimated 20–40%).

Requirements

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing, business development, or corporate development experience in healthcare finance, medical device/equipment, healthcare services, or related industries.
  • Proven success building and managing partnerships with manufacturers, provider groups, or institutional lenders.
  • Strong commercial acumen; experience structuring partnership/referral agreements.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Track record of generating pipeline and meeting revenue targets; data-driven and KPI-oriented.
  • Comfortable in a fast-growing company and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Existing network or relationships in medical device manufacturing, provider groups, or healthcare financing a strong plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.

Pay

$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 with bonus potential.
