About the Role

The Director of Corporate and Community Partnerships is a fundraising professional responsible for managing, facilitating, delegating, communicating, and completing work assignments to raise support from corporate and community partners to help fulfill the mission of St. Louis Children’s at CoxHealth. This individual also leads all local Children’s Miracle Network fundraising efforts which benefit St. Louis Children’s at CoxHealth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, facilitate, delegate, communicate, and complete work assignments to raise support from corporate and community partners.
  • Lead all local Children’s Miracle Network fundraising efforts.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to secure funding.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Make impactful fundraising presentations to individuals, small groups, and large groups.
  • Utilize computer programs, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and social media.
  • Show accurate typing and proofreading abilities.
  • Show excellent telephone and organizational skills.
  • Think on their feet.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation with a willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time (mostly day trips).
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • At least two years of sales or fundraising solicitation experience preferred.

Skills

  • Ability to work as a member of a cohesive team.
  • Ability to develop, coordinate, and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Ability to make impactful fundraising presentations to individuals, small groups, and large groups.
  • Knowledge of computer programs, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and social media.
  • Accurate typing and proofreading abilities.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • Excellent organizational and coordinating skills.
  • Ability to think on his/her feet.
