Responsibilities

  • Knowledge, understanding, and commitment to assisting people to achieve personal outcomes and goals
  • Assume responsibilities that support the attainment of personal outcomes for people as demonstrated by, but not limited to:
    • Health Care Services
    • Personal outcomes
    • Services and supports planning
    • Treatment Support Plans
    • Daily Plans
    • Individual Records
  • Supervise assigned management and professional staff
  • Affirm Managers are hiring, supervising, training, evaluating, scheduling in-services and performing other related management responsibilities as required
  • Conduct staff meetings as needed / required and coordinate Quality Management activities
  • Keep the Assistant Executive Director well informed of the day-to-day operations of the designated component
  • Submit reportable incidents to comply with all Incident Management / HCSIS Regulations / requirements
  • Performance of all ISP duties of the Acting Program Specialist in accordance with the 6400 Regulations
  • Other related duties as required
  • Qualifications

    • Associates degree, six (6) years of supervisory experience and six (6) years experience providing services and supports to people with intellectual disabilities/Autism in a residential setting
    • Or Bachelor’s degree, four (4) years of supervisory experience and five (5) years’ experience providing services and supports to people with intellectual disabilities/Autism in a residential setting
    • Or Masters' degree, two (2) years of supervisory experience and three (3) years’ experience providing services and supports to people with intellectual disabilities/Autism in a residential setting
    • Knowledge and experience in the development/implementation of effective systems, which address licensing/accreditation/regulations across residential homes required
    • Prior experience in developing and implementing Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for people with intellectual disabilities
    • Ability to maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the general public, demonstrating sensitivity to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the agency's public image
    • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines
    • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
    • Act 34 Clearance and FBI Clearance, as applicable

    Minimum Compensation

    • USD $62,000.00/Yr.

    Maximum Compensation

    • USD $68,000.00/Yr.
