Job Summary
Join us at Schnackel Engineers, Inc., a leading MEP/FP/IT consulting engineering firm, as we embark on an ambitious journey to revolutionize the commissioning process in our industry. We’re seeking a visionary Director of Commissioning to spearhead the development of a new, groundbreaking software platform that integrates with our current MEP engineering solutions, including our revolutionary AI for MEP® software.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Creation of a Pioneering Software Platform: Utilize your extensive commissioning experience to develop an entirely new, better software platform that enhances accuracy and automates processes, setting a new industry standard for commissioning software.
- Build a World-Class Commissioning Department: You’ll have the unique opportunity to establish and lead a commissioning department from scratch, shaping it with your vision and expertise.
- Redefine Industry Standards: Your work will directly contribute to transforming how commissioning is structured, reducing costs and complexity, and elevating the efficiency of the entire process.
- Develop and implement an innovative commissioning software platform, integrating it seamlessly with our other MEP engineering tools.
- Establish and lead a new commissioning department, recruiting and mentoring a team of top-tier professionals with an emphasis on being the most convenient and reliable member of the project’s consulting team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform aligns with broader company goals and client needs.
- Provide expert insight into the refinement of commissioning processes, driving efficiency, and accuracy.
Requirements
- Extensive real-world experience in commissioning, particularly within the MEP engineering sector.
- Certification by one of the major national commissioning organizations.
- Passion for innovation and the drive to build something new from the ground up.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in understandable terms.
- Demonstrable organizational skills with a specific focus on the organization of documentation associated with the overall commissioning process.
