Director of Commercial, New Business (North America)

As we continue our ambitious growth across North America, we're looking for a commercially driven business development leader to help write the next chapter of our success. You'll work with some of the biggest names in sport, building strategic partnerships and introducing innovative technology solutions that are transforming the way live sport is commercialized.
Responsibilities
- Win strategic partnerships with leagues, teams, broadcasters, streaming platforms, rights holders, and key commercial partners across North America.
- Build trusted executive relationships that position TGI Sport as the partner of choice for innovative sports technology solutions.
- Lead complex enterprise sales from initial engagement through to negotiation and contract execution.
- Develop commercial solutions that create new revenue opportunities and maximize the value of media rights, sponsorship assets, and live sports broadcasts.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Technology, and Operations teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Build a healthy pipeline, produce accurate sales forecasts, and use market insight to help shape TGI Sport's future commercial strategy.
Requirements
Essential
- An established executive network across North American sport, media, broadcasting, streaming platforms, or rights holders.
- Demonstrable success winning high-value enterprise partnerships and delivering significant new business growth.
- Knowledge of media rights, sponsorship activation, or sports commercialization.
- Ability to travel across North America as required, likely around once every 1–2 months.
- The ability to translate technical capability into compelling commercial value for senior decision-makers.
- Outstanding relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong pipeline management and forecasting experience, with the ability to turn sales data into meaningful commercial insight.
Desirable
- Experience selling complex technology solutions within sports, media, advertising, sponsorship, media rights, broadcast technology, or a related industry.
- Experience with virtual advertising, sports technology, broadcast technology, ad tech, or digital media.
- Experience working within an international or matrix organization.

Pay
$220,000–$250,000 base salary, plus a highly competitive variable compensation plan.
