Director of Clinical Curriculum

The Director of Clinical Curriculum for the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP) is responsible for overseeing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the third- and fourth-year clinical curriculum for DO students at the Pomona campus. Key duties include:

• Oversight and development of the clinical curriculum
• Supporting accreditation compliance and student academic success
• Collaborating with various departments to ensure student progression and academic support
• Contributing to the continuous quality improvement of the clinical curriculum

The successful candidate will also:

• Show strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills
• Communicate effectively and professionally in verbal, written, and electronic formats
• Work collaboratively with administration, faculty, staff, and students in a diverse academic environment
• Work effectively across departments and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare, analyze, and present professional reports, data summaries, and proposals
• Demonstrate a commitment to academic medicine and osteopathic medical education

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited residency training program
• Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in undergraduate or graduate medical education
• Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation
• Experience with learner assessment, remediation strategies, and board examination preparation (e.g., COMLEX-USA Level 2, USMLE Step 2)
• Familiarity with accreditation standards and reporting processes (e.g., COCA)

The expected pay scale for this position is $220,000 - $230,000 annually.
