Our clients are typically large organizations, and our platform helps them hire, promote, and develop leaders for senior roles. We are a mission-driven organization committed to bringing fairness to leadership selection, development, and succession. We believe leadership opportunities should be awarded based on merit, not on background, identity, or access. Our Values Fairness: We treat people equally, without bias or discrimination. Evidence: We make decisions based on data and scientific evidence. Potential: We believe that everyone has the potential to become a great leader. The OpportunityPinsight is seeking a Director, Client Engagement to lead how some of the world’s most sophisticated organizations put leadership assessment to work. We help large, complex enterprises make critical leadership decisions across hiring, promotion, succession, and development. As Pinsight evolves from an assessment provider into a Leadership Intelligence Platform, Client Engagement is at the heart of that shift, shaping how assessment evidence is implemented, interpreted, and embedded into clients’ talent systems. You will influence the full arc of the client relationship, from onboarding and implementation through stakeholder training, change management, and ongoing advisory, across a broad enterprise portfolio. Few roles offer such visibility into how leading organizations select, develop, and promote their leaders. You will lead a team of Implementation Managers who own day-to-day client relationships, while you set the direction for how accounts mature: architecting account strategies, advising client leaders on best practice, and serving as the team’s expert voice on methodology and interpretation. What You'll OwnEnterprise Account Strategy & Change LeadershipArchitect plans that mature assessment practice within our enterprise clients.• Partner with client HR and Talent leaders to build multi-year account strategies that expand how Pinsight supports selection, succession, development, HiPo, and promotion decisions.• Apply your subject-matter expertise to advise clients on implementation design, program governance, and the integration of assessment into their existing talent workflows.• Ensure every client has a clear success plan tied to its talent objectives and contracted use cases.• Equip the team with standard implementation playbooks and coach them to run them well, so consistent execution frees senior attention for strategic work.• Build strong change management practices that help clients move from first use to embedded, organization-wide adoption.• Be the go-to resource for educating new client stakeholders on the value of Pinsight, and a key voice in executive business reviews on our latest advancements and how clients can use them.• Monitor adoption and value realization, and intervene early when engagement is at risk. Lead the Client Engagement TeamLead, develop, and grow a team of Implementation Managers, each serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise clients.• Establish clear ownership and accountability at the account level, and create an environment where team members have the autonomy to own their accounts.• Coach Implementation Managers to manage client relationships, implementation, and adoption independently, and to grow in account management: stakeholder mapping, executive communication, and assessment interpretation.• Establish consistent service standards and account-management practices.• Manage performance, workload, capacity, and development.• Step into client situations selectively when senior leadership or specialized expertise is required.• Own assessor operations and capacity, including scheduling, allocation, coverage, utilization, onboarding and certification, and readiness to meet current and anticipated demand.• Ensure consistent assessment delivery quality, operationalizing Product and Science standards across the assessor network. Assessment Interpretation & Expert GuidanceServe as the team's expert voice on Pinsight's assessment methodology.• Guide Implementation Managers and clients through complex questions about individual assessment results.• Help clients interpret individual reports appropriately in the context of hiring, promotion, succession, and development decisions.• Advise on appropriate and inappropriate uses of assessment data, including fairness, validity evidence, and defensible decision-making.• Partner with Pinsight's Science team on specialized methodology and validity questions.• Recognize when client questions point to broader, population-level needs, and bring in the right Pinsight partners. Bridging Science and PracticeTranslate the science behind simulation-based assessment centers into practical capability for client organizations.• Ensure HR, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders understand how to integrate assessment evidence into their processes, from report interpretation to feedback conversations and development planning.• Design client-specific enablement on assessment reporting and interpretation where needed.• Ensure Implementation Managers can confidently train and support their clients.• Partner with Product on standardized training content while owning its effective adoption with clients. Renewal & Account HealthOwn the retention of Pinsight's enterprise portfolio, in partnership with the CEO.• Maintain clear visibility into account health and renewal risk, with accurate forecasting.• Lead renewal conversations, with renewals as the natural result of value delivered.• Identify signals of expanded client need and partner internally to pursue them. Your Impact Across PinsightThis role is a key voice across the company, not just a point in a handoff.• Solution Design: Partner to design enterprise talent solutions and serve as an expert voice during the sales process, so what we propose is what clients can implement and sustain.• Product & Science: Bring the voice of the client to keep our solutions relevant to enterprise talent leaders. For the right candidate, there is opportunity to contribute to the validation and piloting of new products.• Leadership Intelligence: Partner to identify opportunities to grow clients' evidence base and expand analysis across leader populations. How Success Is MeasuredSuccess means clients embed Pinsight into their talent processes, realize sustained value, and renew. The primary measure is gross revenue retention, supported by adoption, implementation quality, stakeholder engagement, and client satisfaction. What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a senior consultant and trusted client partner: an experienced enterprise leader who combines strong people leadership with deep talent assessment expertise, and who operates credibly with sophisticated HR and Talent Management clients. You will likely bring:• 8+ years of experience in talent management consulting, assessment, HR technology, organizational consulting, Client Success, professional services, or a related field.• Demonstrated experience leading and developing client-facing teams.• Experience managing complex Fortune 1000 or similarly sophisticated enterprise relationships.• Strong knowledge of enterprise talent processes such as executive selection, succession, leadership development, HiPo identification, or promotion.• Experience scoping work, driving adoption, and securing renewals.• Strong program and implementation management capabilities.• Experience with executive assessment methodology, leadership assessment centers, or applied I/O psychology.• The ability to confidently interpret individual assessment results and advise HR professionals on their appropriate application to talent decisions.• Strong commercial judgment and experience facilitating renewal negotiations.• Graduate training in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Talent Management, or a related discipline is highly desirable. The Leadership ProfileThis role suits a scientist-practitioner: someone equally at home with the evidence and with the client. You can walk an enterprise Talent leader through the evidence behind an assessment center rating in the morning (what behaviors were observed, how they were measured, and what the data can and cannot support) and spend the afternoon coaching an Implementation Manager, reviewing account health, or planning assessor capacity. You hold a practitioner's respect for rigor. You care about validity, fairness, and defensible decisions, and you translate them into language business leaders can act on. You create clarity rather than dependency. You establish standards and then trust capable people to operate within them. You know when to step into a client situation, and when your team should own it.Most importantly, you understand that excellent client engagement isn't measured by how indispensable you personally become to clients. It's measured by building a team and operating model that makes Pinsight indispensable to them. RequirementsYou should be based in Colorado at the start date and able to meet for monthly team on-sites in Denver. We do not offer relocation assistance for this role. The expected annual base salary range for this position is $140,000–$170,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is also eligible for an annual performance-based bonus.
