Director of Catering & Events (Sales Focused)

About the role

The role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and financial success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including housekeeping, food and beverage services, and guest relations.
• Manage staff performance and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in hotel management or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Strong understanding of hospitality industry trends and best practices.
