Responsibilities
- Lead capital markets initiatives by evaluating, structuring, and executing debt financing solutions that align with business objectives.
- Direct annual planning efforts and oversee debt management for a large complex portfolio.
- Prepare and review financial reports for leadership, translating complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Monitor cash flow across projects and operating entities to support liquidity management and funding priorities.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support debt offerings, refinancing activities, and related capital transactions.
- Assess market conditions and financing alternatives, including hedging approaches, to strengthen risk management and capital structure decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading capital markets or senior finance functions within commercial real estate, development, or investment-focused organizations.
- Strong knowledge of debt financing, debt capital markets, and debt securities, including structuring and execution considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting, month-end close, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Experience overseeing debt compliance and working with lenders, investors, or financial institutions on ongoing reporting requirements.
- Background in commercial real estate investment, real estate development, or investment banking related to property-based transactions.
- Solid understanding of financing strategy, refinancing activity, and hedging methods used to manage interest rate or market exposure.
