Director of Business Insights & Retail AnalyticsMagic Mind | Hybrid (CA, TX, CO preferred) | Full-Time Why is this role exciting?Magic Mind is on a mission to help millions unlock their mental wealth, transforming brain fog into laser focus, stress into productivity, and energy crashes into all-day performance. We're not just another supplement company. We're building the category-defining brand that helps high performers like Pete Holmes, Kim Kardashian, Justin Kan, and Nathan Florence achieve peak mental performance. As Magic Mind continues it’s strong growth in retail, the data behind every decision matters more than ever. In this role, you’ll be the person who turns POS, syndicated, and retailer portal data into the story our retail team takes into every buyer conversation, business review, and shelf reset. You’ll work across Whole Foods, Sprouts, Target, Albertsons, Publix, and more, and your analysis will shape where we grow distribution, how we defend shelf space, and which promotions are worth repeating. This is a high-visibility role with real influence. You’ll report to the VP of Sales with a dotted line to Finance, and partner closely with National Account Managers, finance, and retail digital shopper marketing so the whole company works from one trusted view of how Magic Mind is performing at retail. You’ll have room to build the dashboards, scorecards, and measurement frameworks that make insight available to the team without you in the room. If you love turning messy data into decisions and want your work to show up in real retail results, this is the role for you. About Magic MindMagic Mind has cracked the code on mental performance with our clinically-proven shots featuring 12 premium ingredients including Lion's Mane, Ashwagandha, and time-released caffeine delivered through proprietary nano-encapsulation technology. We're profitable, Series A funded, and growing 2-3x per year with a proven subscription eCommerce model and expanding retail presence. Our customers aren't just buying a product, they're investing in their mental wealth. From Silicon Valley entrepreneurs pulling all-nighters to athletes preparing for competition, Magic Mind delivers sharper minds, calm energy, and stress resilience when it matters most. Notable users include: Matthew Stafford, Sean McVay, Pete Holmes, Rufus du Sol, Nathan Florence, Kim Kardashian, Justin Kan, Kevin Rose, and thousands of other high performers who rely on Magic Mind to unlock their potential. The RoleYou will own the business insights and analytics engine behind Magic Mind’s retail growth. Every business review, buyer conversation, and shelf reset decision across Whole Foods, Sprouts, Target, Albertsons, Publix, and more should be backed by a clear, accurate, and timely read on distribution, velocity, and share, not a gut feeling. Your job is to turn POS, syndicated, and retailer portal data into the story our sales team brings into the room, and to help finance keep trade spend, forecasting, and promotional ROI tied to the P&L. This role exists to make you the analytics partner our retail sales team can trust completely, reporting to the VP of Sales / Head of Retail with a dotted line to Finance, not a reporting function three steps removed from the account relationship. You will build the dashboards, scorecards, and analyses that National Account Managers rely on, own our relationships with syndicated data providers and retailer portals, and work alongside sales, finance, and retail digital shopper marketing so everyone is working from one shared view of how Magic Mind is performing at retail.
