About the role

Sunrise Skilled Nursing & Rehab is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Director of Business Development (DBD) to join our leadership team in a multi-facility role supporting admissions growth and referral development for Sunrise and a nearby partner facility.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and referral partners
• Support admissions growth and referral development across multiple facilities
• Manage referral flow and assist with admissions processes from inquiry through admission
• Collaborate with business office teams regarding insurance verification and eligibility
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support occupancy and census goals
• Lead tours, assessments, and follow-up communication with prospective residents and families
• Support community outreach initiatives and internal marketing efforts
• Participate in strategy meetings focused on admissions and growth initiatives
• Help improve systems related to inquiry conversion and customer experience

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, or long-term care business development preferred
• Experience working with hospital referral sources strongly preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organized and able to manage priorities across multiple facilities
• Professional, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Passionate about supporting resident-centered care and facility growth
