Drive Growth. Build Relationships. Make an Impact. Lakeside Health & Rehab is seeking an experienced, energetic, and relationship-driven Director of Business Development to join our leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and business development plans to increase admissions and occupancy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, assisted living communities, hospice agencies, home health providers, and community organizations.
- Conduct regular outreach and networking activities to generate new referral sources.
- Represent Lakeside Health & Rehab at community events, healthcare meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Admissions, Clinical, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure a seamless referral and admission process.
- Maintain and track market trends, competitor activity, and referral patterns to identify new business opportunities.
- Track marketing efforts, referral activity, and census goals while providing regular reports to leadership.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to referral partners, residents, families, and community stakeholders.
- Promote the facility's mission, values, and commitment to quality resident care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience in healthcare business development, admissions, marketing, or sales will be considered.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, home health, hospice, or healthcare marketing strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM or referral tracking systems.
