Director of Business Development

Responsibilities

• Organizes, directs, and is responsible for all aspects of business development.
• Develops, implements, monitors, updates, and analyzes the organization's strategic business development plan.
• Partners with the CEO to grow the hospital’s admissions, clinical programs, and service line development.
• Manages business planning, physician relations, post-acute strategy, and EMS relations.
• Creates and/or implements tracking mechanisms to increase volume, revenue, etc.
• Drills down data to quantify specific efforts and their impact on volume, growth, revenue, etc., by program, service line, and/or physician.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business (Development), or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 7 years in related field (business development and/or marketing) required.
• At least 2 years of healthcare management experience required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Experience with project/program development/management strongly preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills required.
