About the role
The Business Development Organization at Precisely is transforming into a best-in-class team. This role is focused on building and developing an outbound engine alongside an existing inbound infrastructure to meet pipeline targets. It’s a hands-on, high-impact position designed for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is ready to shape the future of the team.
Responsibilities
- Run the accountability loop daily: set standards, inspect work, coach gaps, and hold the team accountable. Teach managers to do the same.
- Develop and optimize the outbound motion alongside the inbound engine, building systems, plays, sequences, and habits that scale.
- Own sales-qualified opportunities and closed-won bookings for North America, focusing on outcomes over activity metrics.
- Build AI-powered workflows to enhance prospecting, research, personalization, and sequencing. Deploy agents that support sales development.
- Recruit and develop talent, creating ramp models, coaching frameworks, and career paths to foster future leaders.
- Operate across Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Enablement with a director-level perspective, providing data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
- 8 to 12 years of experience in BDR, SDR, or GTM roles within SaaS or enterprise technology.
- 3 to 5+ years leading teams that include managers, not just individual contributors.
- Proven track record of building outbound motions within inbound-heavy teams, with a clear understanding of the associated costs.
- Ability to write, test, refine, and hand off playbooks to managers for execution.
- Strong coaching skills, with the ability to differentiate between performance gaps ("won't" vs. "can't") and address them appropriately.
- Experience running pipeline reviews that uncover insights and building dashboards that answer critical business questions.
- Hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying AI tools, agents, or workflow automation in a sales development context.
Why Precisely
- Join a company at the center of the fast-growing data and AI market, helping the world’s largest organizations trust their data.
- Work in a role where the business is ready to invest in the future, with programs, tools, and leadership alignment already in place.
- Lead a team that is eager for direction, with a VP who collaborates closely and a market that provides meaningful opportunities for reps.
- Be part of a "work from anywhere" culture that celebrates diversity and offers opportunities for growth, learning, and community.
