Auxiliary programs

Plan and oversee after-school enrichment, extended day, mini-camps, and summer camps, ensuring alignment with the school's mission and student needs.
Develop and maintain the enrichment catalog; manage registration, enrollment, and family communications.
Source, vet, and manage relationships with enrichment vendors and community partners.
Negotiate vendor terms and draft Statements of Work covering scope, scheduling, compensation, and compliance.
Supervise, support, and evaluate program instructors and auxiliary staff.
Coordinate all field trips and off-campus experience logistics, including transportation, contracts, and documentation.
Support planning and execution of day, overnight, and international trips.
Partner with the Principal on school events, parent education, and community-building activities.
Support student arrival, dismissal, and transportation in collaboration with school leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience working in a school setting and overseeing enrichment programs, camps, student activities, events, or related programs
  • Previous leadership experience running after-school programs, enrichment programs, camps, or licensed programs
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to work independently
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong project management and event coordination skills
  • Teaching experience preferred but not required
  • An administrative leadership style based on effective human relations and a capacity to work effectively in a multicultural environment, with an understanding and appreciation for diversity
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility, initiative, and willingness to support a wide variety of school operations and programs

Qualifications

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, and to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical activities, including but not limited to climbing, crouching, kneeling, bending, balancing, stooping, stretching, twisting, reaching, and working at floor level with children
  • Ability to safely intervene, when necessary, to prevent injury to a child or others, consistent with School policies and applicable law
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate equipment and manipulate small objects
  • Visual acuity sufficient to read, observe, and assess near and distant objects, including the ability to distinguish colors
  • Ability to respond promptly to emergency or safety-related situations
  • Physical stamina and mental capacity sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position in a dynamic school environment

Pay

The salary range for this full-time position for the 2026-27 school year is $85,000 to $120,000.

Schedule

This role is also classified as on-site, with an expected schedule of 9:30 am - 6:00 pm.
