Director of Assisted Living

About the role

The Director of Assisted Living at MBK Senior Living is responsible for overseeing the care of residents in an assisted living setting. This role involves conducting resident assessments, managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• (20%) Conduct and coordinate the potential assisted living resident assessment program
• (15%) Recruit, interview, hire, manage, schedule, motivate, evaluate and supervise department staff
• (10%) Perform all administrative duties accurately and timely
• (5%) Ensure the overall safety and health of all assisted living residents
• (5%) Aid in the community marketing effort
• (5%) Serve as Manager on Duty when necessary
• (Other) Perform other job duties or special projects as assigned/requested by the Executive Director

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior related work experience in assisted living management
• Current First Aid Certification
• Valid State of Oregon ALF/RCF Administrators License

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of college in human services, health care, or related field preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Human Services or Health Care field preferred

Pay

$78,000-$80,000 Annually

Schedule

Full Time, Sunday - Thursday (8:30 am-5:00 pm + weekends & evenings as needed)
