Director of Ambulatory Nursing
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Director of Ambulatory Nursing to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will provide leadership for ambulatory nursing operations across a broad clinic network, with a strong focus on clinical quality, staffing, and operational consistency. The position will partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to strengthen care delivery, support onboarding and training, and improve performance across multisite outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on nursing leadership experience and the ability to translate clinical standards into efficient, scalable ambulatory operations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Direct clinical operations across 100+ clinic locations
- Develop and optimize quality performance metrics
- Implement training programs for clinical staff onboarding
- Support system-wide, clinically focused operations
- Establish policies and procedures for ambulatory care settings
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance operational efficiencies
- Analyze and track budgets for major operational initiatives
Qualifications
- BSN required, MSN preferred
- 5-7 years of clinical experience
- 3+ years of management experience
- Experience leading multisite and multispecialty ambulatory operations preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing clinical policies and protocols

Pay
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
