Director of Aircraft Management & Business Development
Role and Responsibilities
Serve as the senior relationship leader for key aircraft owners, conducting strategic reviews, utilization planning, and ownership consultations.
Lead initiatives to grow the managed aircraft portfolio through acquisition sourcing, owner outreach, and aircraft onboarding.
Develop relationships with brokers, family offices, wealth managers, attorneys, corporate flight departments, and aviation advisors.
Manage and mentor the Owner Relations Coordinator, establishing standards for owner communication, service delivery, and operational excellence.
Oversee owner experience programs and personally handle escalated owner concerns and high-priority relationships.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless aircraft owner support, trip planning, and service execution.
Represent the organization at aviation events, conferences, networking functions, and industry meetings.
Support expansion into new geographic markets through strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
3+ years of aviation industry experience
Proven track record managing ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client relationships
Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, business development, or account growth within aviation, financial services, or a related industry
Existing network with family offices, wealth managers, aviation advisors, brokers, or corporate aviation professionals
Experience leading, mentoring, or managing client-facing teams
Strong executive presence, communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
