The Director of AI and Transformation role is seeking an entrepreneurial AI leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing AI solutions that drive measurable business impact. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and execute an enterprise AI strategy and transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  2. Partner with executive leadership and business teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve operations, customer delivery, and growth.
  3. Lead the implementation of AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  4. Analyze existing workflows and business processes to identify automation opportunities and operational improvements.
  5. Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and solutions to determine when to build, buy, or integrate capabilities.
  6. Drive adoption of AI tools across core business systems and client-facing platforms.
  7. Manage external consultants, technology partners, and implementation resources while helping develop internal AI capabilities.
  8. Identify opportunities to create AI-enabled products, services, and business models that strengthen competitive positioning.
  9. Establish responsible AI governance practices, including adoption frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  10. Serve as a strategic advisor on AI opportunities, trends, and transformation initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading enterprise AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing AI solutions that generate measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of modern AI technologies, including large language models, AI agents, workflow automation, APIs, and enterprise AI platforms.
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation programs and collaborating with executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external technology partners and make effective build-versus-buy decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take a hands-on approach to solving complex business challenges.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to translate technical possibilities into practical business solutions and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in a startup, growth-stage, or similarly agile business environment preferred.
  • Background in education technology or service-based organizations is a plus.
