Qualifications
- Successful experience working in a leadership role in education or business
- Experience in budget development and preparation
- Demonstrated ability to practice participatory management
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong technology skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and community members
- Knowledge of effective administration of adult education and community services operations
Adult Education Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, directs (oversees/approves), and evaluates all adult education programs and activities
- Knowledge of the philosophy of and programming of adult level education
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and effective instructional practices
- Supervised instructional and support staff
- Knowledge of adult education standards, curriculum, and assessment
- Relates positively to the public and understands the importance of considering community needs and wants in regards to programming
- Works collaboratively with educational, social services, and business partners
- Writes and implements state and federal grants
- Develops and oversees annual budget
Pay
$49,218.50 (.50 fte - Pro-rated based on $98,437)
