About the role

The role is based in Brooklyn, NY, and is full-time, in-person (5 days a week on-site).

Essential Functions

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Day Habilitation and Vocational Services programs, ensuring person-centered services that support individuals' goals.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and evaluate the Program Assistant, Vocational Coordinators, the Job Developer, and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
  • Develop daily program schedules that align with individuals' goals and staffing needs.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive environment and ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations, agency policies, documentation requirements, and required timelines.
  • Review Life Plans and monitor program implementation to ensure individuals' goals are addressed through meaningful services.
  • Conduct regular program evaluations and implement improvements to enhance program quality and service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact for families and guardians, responding to questions and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Care Managers, clinicians, and other providers, to coordinate services and support positive outcomes.
  • Monitor program documentation, attendance, staffing, and billing to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of management or program leadership experience, preferably in services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and staff development skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team player with a collaborative, flexible, and solution-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and person-centered services preferred.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

Pay & Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience.
