About the role
The Director of Admissions plays a pivotal role in exceeding enrollment and revenue targets by driving professional referrals, conducting community outreach, and event planning. This position requires proficiency in consultative sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Drive the generation and conversion of direct family referrals from professionals in the community.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to cultivate professional partnerships and referrals within the community.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee engaging and curated campus and community events.
- Own prospecting, outreach, and campus enrollment metrics.
- Collaborate with regional and national sales and support teams.
- Forecast sales, track and analyze performance by identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Utilize sales techniques and relationship-building strategies to increase engagement with families and professionals in the community.
- Partner with the marketing team to align local outreach strategies, manage budget allocation, and maximize lead generation efforts.
- Utilize Salesforce and other systems to ensure consistent and efficient outreach and accurate records.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in admissions and enrollment management.
- Collaborate with campus leadership team to support operational needs, problem-solve emergent challenges, and ensure alignment with school-wide initiatives.
- Create and maintain a campus environment that delivers a highly personalized, premium experience for staff, students, families, and professional partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in education, marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- Previous experience in outreach, consultative sales, business development, and event planning.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales or enrollment targets in a performance-driven environment.
- Experience in behavioral health, education, and community engagement is a plus.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and drive prospects from inquiry through enrollment with a consultative approach.
- Experience in building and maintaining professional referral networks to drive company growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and strong relationships with diverse audiences, and able to effectively represent the organization.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to leverage insights to inform decision-making and improve performance.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the confidence to take initiative and adapt to challenges.
- Able to navigate challenges professionally while maintaining a strategic and solution-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, presentation tools, and reporting software (Salesforce, Canva, Power BI).
