About the role

The Director of Admissions plays a pivotal role in exceeding enrollment and revenue targets by managing admissions inquiries, professional referrals, community outreach, and event planning. This position requires proficiency in consultative sales strategies. Central to the role is delivering high-quality service to families and professionals, ensuring a positive experience and fostering lasting engagement with Fusion Academy.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the generation and conversion of direct family referrals from professionals in the community.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to cultivate professional partnerships and referrals within the community.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee engaging and curated campus and community events.
  • Own prospecting, outreach, and campus enrollment metrics.
  • Collaborate with regional and national sales and support teams.
  • Forecast sales, track and analyze performance by identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize sales techniques and relationship-building strategies to increase engagement with families and professionals in the community.
  • Partner with the marketing team to align local outreach strategies, manage budget allocation, and maximize lead generation efforts.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other systems to ensure consistent and efficient outreach and accurate records.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in admissions and enrollment management.
  • Collaborate with campus leadership team to support operational needs, problem-solve emergent challenges, and ensure alignment with school-wide initiatives.
  • Connect families, students, and staff with professional and community resources to support their Fusion experience.
  • Identify potential partnerships in the community and coordinate with Fusion’s partnership teams to ensure a streamlined process.
  • Create and maintain a campus environment that delivers a highly personalized, premium experience for staff, students, families, and professional partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in education, marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • Previous experience in outreach, consultative sales, business development, and event planning.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales or enrollment targets in a performance-driven environment.
  • Experience in behavioral health, education, and community engagement is a plus.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and drive prospects from inquiry through enrollment with a consultative approach.
  • Experience in building and maintaining professional referral networks to drive company growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and strong relationships with diverse audiences, and able to effectively represent the organization.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to leverage insights to inform decision-making and improve performance.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the confidence to take initiative and adapt to challenges.
  • Able to navigate challenges professionally while maintaining a strategic and solution-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, presentation tools, and reporting software (Salesforce, Canva, Power BI).

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay Range: USD $67,000.00 - USD $77,000.00 /Yr.
  • Benefits: Annual bonus of up to 20% of base salary, medical, dental, and vision plans, vacation time, accident and life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) plan with company match, sick time and paid holidays, tax-advantaged commuter benefits, employee assistance program.
