About the role

The families who select Alpha rely on trusted advisors across every facet of their lives. This is the relationship they haven't yet established. You will become the person they reach out to when uncertainty arises, when something doesn't feel quite right, or when they want to share a milestone they know you will appreciate.

Responsibilities

  • Own the evolving relationship with each family on campus—the continuous, deepening connection that ensures parents feel understood, not merely served
  • Identify concerns before they escalate into conversations, and address them with the discretion and interpersonal skill that preserves trust
  • Maintain visible presence where families gather: morning arrival (7–9am), afternoon departure (2–4pm), evening parent gatherings, and select weekend activities
  • Create a campus community with authentic dimension—events, rituals, and interactions that help families feel they are part of something meaningful and worth safeguarding
  • Develop parent advocates through organic engagement, delivering experiences so reliably strong that referrals emerge as a natural consequence
  • Sustain the ongoing conversation about Alpha's AI-powered approach with families managing screen time concerns, skeptical relatives, and periodic doubt—not only at enrollment, but continuously throughout their campus experience
  • Recognize when a family is not aligned and manage that situation with the same thoughtfulness you apply to everything else—preserving the community is part of supporting it
  • Establish the systems and routines this position demands in a setting where the framework is still under development

Requirements

  • Currently living within commuting distance of one of these campuses OR prepared to relocate within 60 days (preference given to candidates with established community ties): Denver, CO; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Tampa, FL; Boston, MA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Las Vegas, NV; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Dallas (Carrollton), TX; Fort Worth, TX; Houston (The Woodlands), TX; Park City, UT; Burlington, VT; Kirkland, WA; or Jackson Hole, WY
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • 5+ years in a relationship-centered role serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families—private school admissions, luxury hospitality, philanthropy, or any context where discretion, warmth, and interpersonal fluency were as critical as competence
  • Proven ability to sustain relationships through challenging situations with sophisticated families and maintain trust throughout
  • Authentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence rapidly with affluent, high-expectation families—not polished in a manner that appears rehearsed
  • Personal connection to independent, private, or non-traditional education—professionally or as a parent—that provides you genuine credibility when families challenge the model
  • Exceptional candidates will possess at least one of the following: Established connections within the local affluent community that would provide an immediate, organic foundation on campusPrivate school or independent school background with demonstrated success in family retention and community depth—not just enrollment metricsExperience managing high-stakes family relationships where your judgment and discretion were the reasons trust was preservedA talent for designing experiences—events, moments, environments—where people feel they belong to something meaningful and worth defendingPrior startup or early-stage experience where you built from the ground up and remained steady when circumstances shifted rapidly
