Director of Admissions (64021)

About the role

UEI College is seeking a Director of Admissions to join our campus team. This role involves staffing, training, and managing a compliant campus Admissions Team to facilitate the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants.

Responsibilities

• Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures related to student enrollment.
• Recruit, train, and develop highly talented admissions professionals.
• Manage lead distribution to the Admissions Team.
• Monitor the daily/weekly activities of the Admissions Team to ensure admissions objectives are met.
• Conduct second interviews of prospective student enrollments.
• Motivate the Admissions Team to meet its admissions objectives while adhering to the highest ethical standards and compliance requirements.
• Manage compliance with the student enrollment process, including inquiries, phone screens, and interviews.
• Prepare and manage the department budget.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience.
• An additional 2 years of experience as an Associate Director of Admissions or Director of Admissions.
• Thorough understanding of the education admissions process.
• Ability to motivate, build, and successfully manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem-solving and conflict resolution.
