Director of Accounting

About the role

We are currently partnered with a Family Office in Manhattan who is looking for a Director of Accounting to join their team. This hire will report into the Head of Operations and work closely with the Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities

This position is a mix of finance and accounting and you should be prepared to own the workload, not just delegate tasks, as this is a multi-entity and complex family office environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience within a family office environment.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree is required and a CPA is preferred.

Skills

They use Sage Intacct for the accounting, so experience with that software is highly preferred.
