Key Responsibilities

• Build on a solid base of internal and external financial professionals in the establishment of a world-class global accounting function
• Manage the transition and steps from small, private company to public SEC-reporting organization
• Develop teams and have the ability to think strategically about organizational growth while also recruiting and retaining top talent within the organization
• Develop and refine accounting processes and policies
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Support management reporting
• Manage tax and transfer pricing disciplines

Requirements

• Excellent critical thinking and analysis
• Interest in and aptitude for a wide range of technology disciplines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Big-4 or other large, multi-national firm
• Broad experience with private and public company financial statement preparation
• Depth of experience in business process engineering, process automation, and internal controls
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with AI tools and technologies, with a commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence to drive innovation, enhance security, and optimize performance

Bonus Points (preferred skills)

• Active CPA license

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is: $155,000 - $190,000 USD per year (Chicago)
