What You Will Do
- Play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the operational aspects of projects and staff.
- Take over as the face of Parsons with local clients and help pursue/win new work by proactively engaging and maintaining a visible presence with MDOT stakeholders.
- Be the main point of contact for Parsons in Michigan both externally and internally.
- Ensure the successful execution of projects, profitability and growth of the operation through winning new projects and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Leverage key accounts, closely coordinate and collaborate across business lines while providing innovative leadership.
Required Skills
- A 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or related technical/business field.
- A licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan, with considerable work experience in Michigan and/or neighboring states.
- Background in civil engineering with design of highway, bridge or traffic projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Experience leading and participating in business development activities.
Desired Skills
- Experience meeting operational business goals and strategizing on market development including P&L ownership (a plus).
