Director, Merchandising NA Wholesale
About the role
The Director, Merchandising NA Wholesale for HEYDUE is responsible for leading the merchandising strategy and execution for the North America wholesale business. This role serves as the bridge between global product strategies and marketplace execution, translating consumer insights, business performance and market opportunities into growth driving assortments and commercial action plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the North America Wholesale merchandising strategy, translating enterprise and category priorities into account-level growth plans, assortment strategies and commercial objectives.
- Serve as the wholesale marketplace expert, leveraging consumer insights, competitive intelligence, customer feedback and business performance to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Build and evolve a repeatable data-informed merchandising framework that improves assortment productivity, drives business performance and establishes merchandising best practices across the organization.
- Partner closely with DTC Merchandising and cross-functional leaders across Sales, Planning, Marketing and Category Management to align priorities, leverage marketplace insights and drive business results.
- Champion innovative merchandising approaches, processes and tools that improve speed, agility and responsiveness to consumer and marketplace trends.
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing team of merchandising professionals, building organizational capability, strengthening talent and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Influence senior leadership through clear business insights, strategic recommendations and action plans that drive growth, productivity and long-term business success.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience); ~8–10+ years of experience in merchandising, product creation, or retail; footwear or wholesale experience preferred.
Proven ability to develop and execute merchandising strategies that drive growth across multiple accounts, channels and consumer segments; demonstrated experience building merchandising frameworks, assortment strategies and business processes that improve decision-making and commercial performance; strong analytical, financial and commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex business information into clear strategic actions; exceptional leadership, communication and influencing skills, with experience leading teams and driving alignment across cross-functional organizations; experience developing high-performing talent and building organizational capability within a fast-paced, matrixed environment; strategic mindset with a bias toward action, innovation, continuous improvement and consumer-centric decision making.

Pay
$170,000 - $186,000; pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
