Director Medicaid Plan Marketing
Location: Washington State. This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance.
About the role
This role will be responsible for the planning and direction of less complex, specific marketing strategies for a single functional marketing area.
Responsibilities
- Develops short and long term growth, marketing and retention strategies and objectives.
- Directs and coordinates activities of the business initiative to assure alignment with corporate goals.
- Researches and evaluates competitive activity.
- Develops and implements an effective tracking mechanism for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities and productivity.
- Develops and conducts office and field rep training methods.
- Oversees the quality control process and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with state and municipal laws, rules, and guidelines for marketing and outreach.
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience including prior leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience planning and leading community events/partnerships in conjunction with building relationships with local organizations and stakeholders strongly preferred.
- Experience driving member growth and expansion strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of people leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Experience developing and executing multi-channel campaigns; using data/analytics to increase engagement strongly preferred.
- Experience in securing media coverage, managing press inquiries, and drafting press releases strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Washington State Medicaid, the state's local audiences, its competitive landscape, and regional marketing channels strongly preferred.
- Experience partnering and collaborating with Washington State key stakeholders, referral pathways, member engagement, and regulatory requirements strongly preferred.
Pay
For candidates working in person or virtual in Washington State, the salary range for this specific position is $153,732.00 - $230,598.00.
