Overview
Allied Global Marketing is seeking an experienced Director, Media to lead digital media strategy and execution for a key ticketed entertainment client. The Director will develop and oversee comprehensive media campaigns including paid social, paid search, video, display, programmatic, and other digital advertising channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with client business objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of media professionals, providing guidance on campaign planning and optimization
- Present strategic recommendations directly to clients and internal stakeholders with confidence and clarity
- Balance strategic direction with hands-on campaign management when needed
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, opportunities and actionable insights
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on media strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated campaign execution
- Stay current on emerging media platforms, technologies, and best practices
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and with maximum effectiveness
- Contribute to new business efforts and agency growth initiatives
Qualifications
- 6+ years digital media strategy, planning and buying experience with 1+ years in a leadership role
- Proven success developing and executing multi-channel media campaigns
- Hands-on experience managing Meta and Google ad platforms is a must
- Strong understanding of media planning principles, audience targeting, and performance optimization
- Experience managing teams and guiding junior staff members
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships at the director level
- Proficiency with Paid Search, Paid Social, YouTube, Programmatic, CTV advertising
- Experience with data integration, measurement frameworks, and performance analysis
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with entertainment brands is a plus
Details
The annual salary range for this role is $110,000-$115,000. This position will be eligible to participate in the standard benefits offered to full-time employees of Allied Global Marketing (medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance as well as 401k and Flexible PTO). In addition, we offer 10 company-paid holidays.
