About the role

As the Director of Marketing for GLI Secure, you will partner with management to develop marketing strategies that expand our core markets in the gambling industry and diversify into new business verticals. This role is pivotal in positioning GLI Secure as a leader in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk-based services.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the management team to develop and execute a marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, including identifying market opportunities, customer segments, and competitive positioning.
  • Lead ongoing market research to assess industry trends and the competitive landscape, translating findings into actionable insights for sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Create high-quality whitepapers, blogs, case studies, and industry reports that articulate our value proposition across different verticals.
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to understand business drivers and adapt marketing solutions to meet corporate growth objectives.
  • Execute strategic marketing campaigns through multi-channel platforms to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Ensure consistent positioning and messaging of GLI Secure across all channels, elevating the brand as a trusted cybersecurity and compliance partner.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with strategic partners.
  • Define and report on marketing performance metrics, including campaign ROI, conversion rates, and sales outcomes in partnership with the sales team.
  • Use CRM, marketing automation, and campaign performance data to evaluate marketing ROI and connect marketing activity to sales results.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor marketing budgets, ensuring responsible allocation of resources across campaigns, events, content, and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage external marketing agencies and vendor partners to ensure deliverables, timelines, and brand standards are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing new business development or market diversification.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing cybersecurity, information security, or highly technical B2B services.
  • Strong understanding of cyber risk, security testing methodologies, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Experience leading marketing research initiatives and translating insights into strategy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, including working under pressure.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a realistic balance among priorities.
  • High degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.

Qualifications

  • Background working in regulated industries (preferred).
  • Experience supporting global organizations (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • HubSpot and CRM experience (a plus).

Pay

$110,000 – $150,000 per year.

Schedule

Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours or more per week. Up to 15% travel required to tradeshows, conferences, events, or other office locations, as needed.
