Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage associates and their work on a day-to-day basis.
- Schedule workflow so that all tasks are accomplished, and issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner, and in compliance with policies and procedures and relevant loan documents.
- Cross train associates so they can work in multiple areas of loan servicing, both to improve the work experience and to eliminate key-man issues.
- Make staffing decisions for team member positions.
- Provide employee feedback on a real-time basis.
- Complete annual performance evaluations.
- Work with the associates to maintain strict compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, with an ongoing focus on improving existing processes and procedures as opportunities arise.
- Work with associates to see that all training needs, both technical and interpersonal, are met in a timely manner.
- Participate in the development and ongoing compliance with Key Performance Indicators.
- Lead and participate in servicing projects, as necessary.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of all aspects of commercial mortgage servicing, preferably in a cross-functional team environment, including but not limited to:
- Loan closing and boarding, billing, and collections
- Taxes and Insurance/escrow analysis
- Loan documents and document management
- Lets of credit, reserves, UCC’s, lien releases
- Property insurance compliance
- Maturing loans and loan payoffs
- Cash Management and waterfall processing
