  • Lead supplier negotiations and strategic partnerships to secure favorable pricing, service levels, and long-term value while driving annual savings initiatives.
  • Coordinate the Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL) process, ensuring commercially optimized solutions, improved customer lifecycle value, and effective supplier engagement.
  • Serve as the procurement leader for Modifications & Upgrades projects, ensuring sourcing strategies support project schedules, margins, and customer commitments.
  • Build and implement supplier risk management programs that address availability, cost volatility, capacity constraints, obsolescence, quality, and business continuity risks.
  • Establish supplier performance metrics, lead supplier reviews, and drive corrective actions that improve quality, delivery, service, and cost performance.
  • Leverage analytics, market intelligence, and procurement data to identify savings opportunities, improve margins, and support strategic business decisions.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Category Management to align procurement priorities with business objectives.
  • Promote governance, ethical sourcing, operational excellence, Lean initiatives, and continuous advancement within procurement procedures and methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, Operations, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CPIM, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Over 5 years of experience managing procurement, sourcing, category management, or supply chain teams.
  • Proven success developing sourcing strategies, negotiating complex supplier agreements, and delivering measurable cost savings and business value.
  • Experience supporting aftermarket parts, industrial equipment, manufacturing, automation, capital equipment, or service-based organizations is preferred.
  • Expertise in supplier relationship management, supplier performance improvement, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong commercial competence with deep knowledge of strategic sourcing, total cost of ownership, and supply chain guidelines.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to leverage data, important metrics, and market insights to drive informed business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive collaborators, lead cross-functional initiatives, and achieve results within a matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, communication, and organizational development abilities with a passion for nurturing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 10–20% as needed.
