This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Lifecycle & Customer Growth based in the United States. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of customer engagement and long-term growth within a fast-paced, consumer-focused organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall lifecycle marketing strategy with full responsibility for increasing customer lifetime value and long-term retention.
- Lead and mentor the lifecycle marketing team while driving best practices across the entire customer journey, from acquisition through repeat engagement.
- Build advanced personalization strategies using behavioral data, dynamic content, channel optimization, and customer segmentation.
- Identify, validate, and launch new customer growth initiatives such as loyalty, referral, and other value-generating programs through data-driven business cases.
- Partner closely with Product teams to create seamless customer experiences across marketing and product touchpoints.
- Collaborate with Data Science to develop and optimize audience segmentation, targeting models, and personalization capabilities.
- Leverage analytics, experimentation, automation, and AI-powered tools to continuously improve campaign performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or customer growth within consumer technology, marketplace, or app-based businesses.
- Proven success developing and executing sophisticated personalization strategies that drive measurable business growth.
- Experience building new customer programs or growth initiatives from concept through execution using data-backed decision making.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and coaching high-performing teams while remaining hands-on with execution.
- Strong ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, particularly Product and Data Science teams, without direct authority.
- Experience working with lifecycle marketing platforms such as Braze or similar customer engagement solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using customer insights, experimentation, and AI tools to optimize lifecycle performance.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Experience in ticketing, live events, travel, marketplace platforms, or incentive design is considered an advantage.
