Director, Legal Counsel (Remote - U.S. | EST/CST)

About the role

Provide business-aligned legal guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. Partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. Strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a Legal & Accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate customer agreements effectively
• Develop solutions ensuring legal compliance and customer satisfaction
• Support business operations with legal advice on regulations
• Stay current on legal trends and legislative developments

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in at least one State
• 15+ years of legal experience, with 10+ years in-house counsel experience
• Proven track record in negotiating various agreements
• Experience supporting international operations

Pay

$210,000 – $225,000 annually
