Director, Legal Counsel (Remote)

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a Legal & Accounting environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Negotiate customer agreements effectively
• Develop customer-centric legal solutions ensuring compliance with laws
• Guide business operations on compliance with legal regulations
• Stay informed about legislative changes and industry trends
• Support cross-functional teams with legal guidance

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in good standing in at least one State
• 15+ years of legal experience, including 10+ years as in-house counsel
• Proficient in negotiating various types of agreements including service and confidentiality agreements
• International operational support experience

Pay

$165,000 – $175,000 annually
