Location
The primary location for job responsibilities is the Marietta campus at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060. The Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Job Summary
Initiates, plans, implements, and assesses innovative and impactful leadership development programs for students. Programs are focused on student leadership development and delivered to student groups or individual students. Programming may include opportunities that support community service, and/or co-curricular experiences. Leads student leadership development initiatives and collaborates with campus partners across the university to advance student engagement and success.
Responsibilities

Leads the strategic vision, direction, and continued advancement of student leadership development initiatives, ensuring alignment with divisional priorities, institutional goals, student success outcomes, and career readiness competencies while expanding the reach and impact of leadership development efforts across the university

Led assessment and accountability efforts that evaluate student participation, engagement, learning outcomes, organizational effectiveness, and program impact, using data to inform planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement

Provides supervision, mentorship, performance management, and strategic direction to assigned staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and student-centered practice while supporting professional growth and development

Develops and manages departmental budgets, resources, and operational priorities to support strategic initiatives, sustainable growth, effective stewardship of university resources, and achievement of departmental goals and outcomes

Represents the department on university, divisional, and external committees and serves as a campus leader and advocate for leadership development, student engagement, organizational effectiveness, and student success initiatives

Provides support for divisional priorities and initiatives as requested
Required Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Experience: Eight (8) years of experience related to the position including previous management and supervisory experience required
Preferred Qualifications

Education: An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Experience: Demonstrated experience designing and developing student leadership programs

Experience: Demonstrated experience implementing leadership development strategies that advance student growth and success
Proposed Salary
The proposed salary range for this position is $80,080 to $87,000. Offers are based on relevant experience.
