Director, Key Accounts Marketing
About the Role
This role of Director, Oncology Key Accounts Marketing supports the vision for best-in-class capabilities and innovative solutions to engage Oncology and Hematology Key Strategic Provider Accounts. The candidate will facilitate the development and updates of the Provider Key Account Strategy for the Commercial Business Unit. Responsibilities include developing the Key Account Marketing sponsorships strategy aligned with the annual brand plan, creating content, and executing rollout to the Oncology Key Account Leader (OKAL) team to build customer loyalty and ensure Oncology brand resonance with stakeholders, C-Suite, and D-Suite leaders in key US oncology accounts. This individual will report to the Global Core Brand Lead.
Responsibilities
- Develop promotional strategy and tactical plan, including all tactics for OKAL use with Key account/VA targets aligned to the brand plan, and secure approval through RC.
- Partner with brand marketing teams to develop a deep understanding of indication and overall brand strategy, US tactical focus, and share data and insights on Key Accounts Performance to inform marketing plans.
- Work closely with the OKAL Leader and OKALs as a dotted-line member of the OKAL Leadership Team, attending regular team calls and meetings, and professional association meetings to connect with OKAL target customers/partners.
- Provide leadership support for the development of the overall Brand Plan and strategy, focusing on key accounts.
- Ensure innovative solutions and procedures for reaching OKAL account-based partners, C-Suite, and account operational leadership, developing collaborative projects as agreed upon with OKAL Sr Director and Head of Marketing.
- Understand and leverage marketplace trends and competitive benchmarking to inform strategies for key account engagement.
- Actively collaborate and provide additional support to OKAL Sr Director and OKAL team operations, including targeting, performance reporting, and business planning/presentations.
- Manage the Key Accounts Marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all programs while tracking and monitoring effectiveness, including KPIs, ROI, and actionable findings.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with significant leadership experience in marketing, sales, and sales management in oncology preferred.
- At least 5 years in a marketing role.
- A bachelor’s degree is required; MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in marketing innovation, including managing ad agencies/vendors and marketing strategy and tactical effectiveness measures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, inform, negotiate, and collaborate.
- Proven track record of market analysis and identifying growth opportunities.
- Ability to synthesize inputs from external and internal collaborators such as HCPs, field teams, and market access colleagues.
- Effective written and oral communication; experience delivering complex messages to diverse internal and external collaborators with a track record of influential presentations.
- Ability to communicate and act promptly; demonstrated initiative and creativity; and agility to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments.
Schedule
- Based in the Sleepy Hollow, NY office 4 days a week.
- Travel up to 30% of the time.
Pay
Salary Range (annually): $183,100.00 - $305,200.00
