Director, IT Program & Delivery Management
About the role
The Director, Technical Project Management leads the planning and execution of complex technology initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for delivering high-impact projects aligned with business strategy, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology projects and programs
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and governance artifacts
- Track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders, IT teams, and vendors
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor engagements
- Apply and implement project management best practices and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
- Manage cross-functional project teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred
- 9+ years of experience in enterprise-level technology project management and team management delivering complex initiatives
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project)
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certification
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise systems, or digital transformation initiatives
- Experience managing regulatory or compliance-driven projects (e.g., SOC2, SOX, HIPAA-type environments)
Pay
The current salary range for this position is $124,500 to $165,000, plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
