Lakefront Biotherapeutics is seeking a Director, Corporate Communications & IR to join their highly experienced Investor Relations and Communications function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Corporate Communications & Strategy

    • Assist in the creation and execution of Lakefront Biotherapeutics communication strategy.
    • Work in partnership with the SVP IR & Corporate Communications and other key stakeholders to execute corporate communications activities and campaigns, including investor and media relations, digital and social communication, internal communications, and public relations.
  • Investor Relations & Financial Communications

    • Support quarterly and yearly mandatory financial communication activities, including earnings, SEC filings, and investor/shareholder events, including the Company’s Annual Meeting.
    • Handle logistics for financial communication events, including non-deal roadshows, investor conferences, and 1:1 investor/analyst meetings.
    • Track, summarise, and distribute research reports as well as published commentary for Lakefront Biotherapeutics and relevant competitor programs.
    • Analyse and monitor the company’s shareholder base and create reports summarising trends and shifts amongst stockholders.
    • Aid in creating information flow to educate the Board on investor reactions to key events.
  • Content Development & Messaging

    • Take ownership of certain communication materials, including news releases, scripts, presentations, Q&As, talking points, and annual report/10-K.
    • Translate complex financial, scientific, and strategic information into clear, compelling messaging tailored to different audiences.
  • Global & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Keep in close contact with Belgium counterparts to streamline workflows.
    • Partner with Belgium teams to manage press release distribution.
    • Partner with Belgium teams to manage social media channels.
    • Work closely with teams across Business Development, Clinical, Finance, HR, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  • Digital, Internal Communications & Brand

    • With Belgium counterparts, manage the company website, content updates, and assist with the corporate blog, including drafting editorial content and sourcing photography.
    • Collaborate with HR to assist with communications supporting employee engagement and DEIB activities, including ongoing content development and management of Lakefront Biotherapeutics site.
  • Project Management & Operations

    • Manage consultants.
    • Oversee budgeting.
    • Coordinate and execute communications-related initiatives across multiple workstreams.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
    • Relevant experience in corporate communications, investor relations, consulting, or financial services.
  • Technical & Professional Skills

    • Excellent writing skills and ability to translate thoughts into clear, compelling slides and presentations.
    • Good understanding of public companies and capital markets dynamics.
    • Strong interest in investor communications strategy.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
