Position Summary

The Director of Investor Relations is responsible for shaping, executing, and sustaining the company’s engagement with the global investment community. This role serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, ensuring a clear, consistent, and credible external narrative that reflects the company’s strategy, performance, and long-term value creation. The Director acts as a trusted interface between the company and investors, analysts, and other key financial stakeholders, while ensuring the highest standards of disclosure, regulatory compliance, and market insight.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Investor Relations Strategy & Narrative

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with enterprise priorities, capital allocation, and long-term growth objectives.
    • Shape and steward the company’s equity story, ensuring clarity, consistency, and credibility across all investor communications.
    • Serve as an internal proxy for the investment community, anticipating investor perspectives and advising senior leadership accordingly.
  • Earnings, Disclosure & Capital Markets Execution

    • Lead the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, including preparation of earnings materials, scripts, Q&A, disclosures, and investor communications.
    • Partner closely with Finance, Legal, and Corporate Communications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with SEC and regulatory requirements.
    • Support preparation of Board-level materials and investor-related content for leadership and directors.
  • Investor & Analyst Engagement

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and rating agencies.
    • Plan and execute investor outreach, including roadshows, conferences, investor days, and one-on-one meetings.
    • Manage inbound investor inquiries and ensure timely, high-quality responses.
  • Market Intelligence & Executive Advisory

    • Monitor shareholder base, analyst sentiment, peer performance, and market dynamics.
    • Provide regular insights and recommendations to the CFO and executive leadership to inform messaging, strategy, and positioning.
    • Track and analyze industry trends, macroeconomic developments, and capital markets activity relevant to the company.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership

    • Partner with internal partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment between internal performance, external messaging, and long-term strategy.
    • Establish disciplined, repeatable processes for investor communications, content governance, and market feedback loops.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field required; MBA and/or CFA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-8 years of progressively responsible experience in Investor Relations, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, or related functions, gained within a publicly traded company or relevant advisory setting; preferred two years of direct Investor Relations experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, SEC disclosure requirements, and capital markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial and strategic information into clear, compelling external messaging.
  • Executive presence with the judgment, discretion, and confidence to engage credibly with senior leaders, investors, and the Board.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Travel Requirements – 25%
