Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of investor relations plans and initiatives aligned with corporate goals during a period of dynamic growth.
  • Engage with the investment community, including healthcare investors and equity research analysts, represent Amylyx at events, and, over time, become a primary relationship owner for select sell-side analysts and new buy-side accounts.
  • Write quarterly and annual results communications, including financial results press releases, annual reports, conference call scripts, key messages, Q&As, and other documents to communicate to investor and analyst audiences.
  • Partner with colleagues to prepare documents for filings and disclosures to be compliant with SEC regulations (i.e., 8-Ks, 10-Ks, 10-Qs, proxies); in certain circumstances, lead creation of documents for filings.
  • Create investor-facing materials, including press releases, presentations for investor meetings, key message documents, Q&As, and content for website; lead and make updates as appropriate.
  • Participate in one-on-one meetings, bus tours, conferences, and non-deal roadshows, and lead follow-up when appropriate.
  • Respond to requests for information from external stakeholders, including shareholders, in a timely manner.
  • Analyze analyst research and models, consensus estimates, and market-related trends impacting valuation and perception; summarize market sentiment on Amylyx and continue to manage consensus.
  • Partner with Senior IR and Communications Operations Specialist who manages active IR calendar/schedules and prepares background information on investors in advance of meetings; assist with scheduling, preparations, and investor tracking when needed.
  • Support the overall Investor Relations function, including assisting with day-to-day needs and long-term special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years of experience on commercial biotech or pharma team.
  • Background in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, Buy-Side, or Consulting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling and how analysts assess company performance and valuation.
  • Knowledge of SEC regulations, disclosure requirements, and management of material non-public information.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence and counsel senior leaders.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills across diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Strong understanding of investor priorities and market expectations.
  • Sound judgment and composure in high-pressure environments.
