For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Director of Investment Consulting to join their team. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes in a regulated financial services environment.
About the role
You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Lead one-on-one investment consulting engagements focused on portfolio management and risk mitigation
- Analyze advisor portfolios to identify and address structural weaknesses
- Translate findings into tailored, clear recommendations for advisors
- Equip advisors with communication tools for client interactions
- Build referral relationships and manage a pipeline of consulting opportunities
- Support branch visits, dealer events, and internal presentations
Qualifications
- CFA, CIM, or advanced investment designation preferred; CAIA, CIMA, or FRM assets
- 5+ years in investment consulting, portfolio analytics, or asset management
- Deep understanding of portfolio theory, asset allocation, and risk management
- Strong knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs, and alternative investments
- Proven ability to translate analytics into actionable recommendations
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- High proficiency in Excel; familiarity with analytical tools like Morningstar or YCharts is a plus
- Fully bilingual in French and English to support diverse clients

Pay
$123,100 – $173,100 annually
