Director, Internal Risk Management

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an internal risk management framework focused on cybersecurity and IT systems
• Lead risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities across the bank's IT infrastructure
• Align risk management strategies with the bank's objectives in collaboration with senior leadership
• Oversee cybersecurity policies to protect against threats like data breaches and malware
• Ensure real-time monitoring of network activity for threat detection
• Manage risks associated with hardware and software implementations within the bank
• Lead the incident response team to address cybersecurity issues and oversee post-incident reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Risk Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 8-10 years of experience in risk management or cybersecurity within banking or financial services
• Expertise in financial systems, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment methodologies
• Proficient in cybersecurity, hardware vulnerabilities, and software implementation risk management
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA are highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute risk management frameworks
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills

Pay

$250,000 – $250,000 annually
