Director Infection Prevention
Job Summary
The Director of Infection Prevention is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the organization's infection prevention and control program. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards, minimizes the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), and promotes a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infection prevention and control in a healthcare setting.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, microbiology, public health, or a related field required.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required within 1 year of hire.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
