About the Opportunity

The Director, Implementation Services leads the technical implementation, configuration, and operationalization of the core platform across enterprise customer environments. This role ensures the successful deployment and scaling of the software within customer clinical workflows by managing end-to-end technical implementations, API integrations, and custom solutions. It combines hands-on leadership in solutions consulting, technical delivery, and service design to build scalable implementation patterns and oversee the customer knowledge graph leveraging generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end enterprise platform implementation, setup, and structural configuration for new and existing customers
• Manage protocol authoring environments, automated data intake setups, and client-specific environment configurations
• Oversee API deployments and coordinate directly with Product and Engineering teams to bridge product gaps
• Define, document, and manage transition processes from the initial implementation phase to long-term post-launch adoption teams
• Cook up cloud environment setups, user access profiles, and corporate IT integrations, including SSO (Single Sign-On) and identity provider configurations
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal DevOps groups and customer IT departments for complex system integrations
• Manage structured data outputs and apply generative AI models to clinical document ingestion, mapping, and automated summarization
• Design, optimize, and maintain prompt libraries for automated document classification and customer knowledge graph integration
• Deliver tailored technical solutions, including custom scripts, data pipelines, and specialized reporting configurations to meet unique client needs
• Utilize highly consultative approaches to align intricate customer operational requirements with standard product capabilities
• Develop, iterate, and scale the implementation operating model, including professional services playbooks and operational SLAs
• Establish rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure implementation consistency, data integrity, and compliance across all configurations
• Build repeatable, modular implementation methodologies to systematically reduce time-to-value for enterprise customers
• Manage, mentor, and actively develop a dedicated Project Manager to coordinate complex timelines, dependencies, and executive communication
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional internal teams, including Customer Strategy, Product Management, and Core Engineering

Requirements

• Eight (8) or more years of progressive experience operating within Professional Services, Solutions Consulting, Technical Account Management, or Technical Implementation roles in a B2B SaaS environment
• Proven experience managing platform configurations and complex API-based integrations directly within enterprise customer IT environments
• Strong architecture-level knowledge of SaaS platforms and AI-driven architectures, including webhooks, APIs, custom workflows, and data schema outputs
• Solid familiarity with generative AI concepts, including prompt engineering, document parsing, LLM orchestration, and unstructured data ingestion
• Prior experience deploying technical solutions or consulting within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, clinical trials, or digital health technology sectors
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing direct reports or technical project managers

Pay Range and Compensation Package
